GRIMES, Iowa (July 11, 2022) – Ryan Giles and Ryan Giles Racing made it two for two in their first two starts at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, finding the top-ten yet again among Knoxville’s ultra-competitive 360 sprint car class.
The Grimes, Iowa, native, who is piloting his very own Albaugh LLC., Iowa Barnstormers, Hicklin Powersports, Barron Equipment, Omega Concrete Mixers, No. 9 for the remainder of the 360 sprint car schedule at the Sprint Car Capital of the World, finished seventh in his July 9 appearance, maintaining his place within the top-ten after starting in the exact same position.
All together, it was a solid night for the former 360 Knoxville Nationals preliminary night winner, kicking things off with the second fastest qualifying time of 31 entries, driving on to power ahead from sixth to finish third in his respective heat race.
Giles was fifth in his team’s debut on July 2.
“It was a solid night for our team. To roll into Knoxville halfway through the season and build this kind of consistency right away says so much,” Ryan Giles expressed. “We owe it all to our amazing partners. They believed in us to put this deal together and so far it’s really paid off. I’m excited to see what July and August bring. It should be an exciting back half of the year.”
