Satterlee Fourth at Virginia; Hagerstown On Deck!
‘Salute to a Champion’ on the Weekend Schedule

Indiana, PA (April 16th, 2015) – Despite some mechanical issues early in the evening, which resulted in limited practice and poor qualifying, Gregg Satterlee still managed to persevere, and record a top-five finish during the ‘King of the Commonwealth’ at Virginia Motor Speedway near Jamaica, Virginia on Saturday, April 11th. Satterlee, driver of the Satterlee Petroleum Distributors, Keyser Manufacturing, Valvoline, Rocket, no. 22 super late model, finished fourth officially during the 60-lap/$20,000-to-win ‘King of the Commonwealth’ last Saturday; rallying from a thirteenth starting position. Randy Weaver was the $20,000 winner; followed by Jonathan Davenport, Scott Bloomquist and Gregg Satterlee.

“Things were looking pretty bad there for a little while” said Gregg Satterlee, “We had some problems with our carburetor during warm-ups, then we had some rear brake issues during qualifying…we got everything figured out and ran pretty good in our heat…got to a transfer spot pretty early and was able to stay there…the car was pretty good around the bottom all night actually…we made a lot of progress in the feature…pretty pleased with the night, overall.”

Up next on the schedule is the ‘Salute To A Champion’ Rodney Franklin event at the Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland. $4301 is on the line this Saturday night, April 18th at the Hagerstown half-mile; a perfect preamble for the upcoming $10,000-to-win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series program at Hagerstown Speedway on Saturday, April 25th. Gregg Satterlee will be in action with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series twice that weekend, with Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania hosting the national touring series on Friday, April 24th.
