Bixby, Oklahoma native – Shane Stewart- picked up the World Series Sprintcars victory early this morning at Manjimup Speedway in Western Australia!
“Stewart took the #17 Miracle Recreation Equipment Monte Motorsport J&J to the win ahead of a surprised Jamie Maiolo in second and an equally surprised David Murcott in third.”
Of the 20 cars that started the round 13 feature event – only eight finished! James McFadden – the current series point leader – finished 5th in the 30 lap feature event. Brooke Tatnell – who was slowly closing the gap on McFadden in the championship point’s chase – failed to make the evening’s A-main lineup! He was credited with a ninth place finish in the B-main.
The premier Australian sprint car series will be back in action this Friday and Saturday – February 10th and 11th – for round no. 14 at Coates Hire Bunbury City Speedway!
