FOREST, Ohio (June 11, 2024) – The opening round of USAC’s Eastern Storm is set to commence later this evening at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania, and Ray Marshall Motorsports, currently 14th in the USAC National Sprint Cars standings, will be in on the action.
The six-race slate features six straight days of competition with five of the six set in the Keystone State. In addition, the annual eastern swing will visit New Jersey for a one-night stay on Wednesday, June 12.
Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports will roll into their Eastern Storm campaign fresh off of a competitive USAC stint at the Sprint Car Capital of the World – Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa – on Friday and Saturday, May 31 and June 1. The Forest, Ohio-based non-wing operation finished 12th in each of their Knoxville appearances with Saturday’s end result being the most impressive, advancing four positions after starting 16th on the Corn Belt Clash finale lineup.
“We’re ready to get started,” Westfall, ace of Ray Marshall’s Buckeye Machine Fabricators Inc, Hempy Water, DPI Ink, Wix Filters, Rod End Supply, Allstar Performance, No. 33M sprint car, said. “This is always a fun week for our team. The fans in Pennsylvania and New Jersey are great and always come out in full force. We hope to put up some great numbers all week.”
