The NDRL’s ULMS and UEMS Series Invade McKean County Raceway and Little Valley Speedway to Celebrate Independence Day
East Smethport, PA (June 27, 2013) The 2013 NDRL’s ULMS and UEMS season continues as the tours visit McKean County Raceway in Smethport, PA and Little Valley Speedway in Little Valley, NY on Wednesday, July 3 and Thursday, July 4 to celebrate the Independence Day holiday with the ‘USMC Corporal Jason Dunham Memorial’ at MCR and the ‘Freedom Daze Late Model Special’ at Little Valley.
The $3,000 to-win ‘USMC Corporal Jason Dunham Memorial’ at McKean County Raceway will also feature a complete program for the RUSH weekly crate late models, Close Racing Supply street stocks, mini stocks and a brand new pure stock class that will debut on July 3. The ‘Freedom Daze Late Model Special’ at Little Valley highlights the NDRL’s ULMS Late Models with a $3,000 to-win event along with the BRP CanAm Series, Street Stocks, E-Mods, and the ‘Bill Law Memorial’ for the Crate Late Models.
The NDRL’s ULMS Late Models series will head into MCR and Little Valley with Ripley, NY’s Mike Knight leading the championship point standings and the entire ULMS contingent of Russ King, Dave Hess Jr., Boom Briggs, Greg Oakes, and Matt Urban against the MCR faithful of Ron Davies, Jason Dupont and Bob Close.
Randy Hall of Olean, NY has a one point lead over car owner and teammate Vic Vena of Portville, NY with the NDRL’s UEMS Modifieds series while Steve Dixon, Dave Hess Jr., and Brent Rhebergen are all within 30 points of the point leader Hall.
Grandstand admission for the ‘USMC Corporal Jason Dunham Memorial’ at McKean County will be $12 for adults, $10 for senior citizen’s, while children 12 and under are free. Pit Passes are $25. Pit Gates open at 4:30pm with grandstand gates opening at 5pm. Racing gets underway at 7:30pm.
Grandstand admission for the ‘Freedom Daze Late Model Special’ at Little Valley Speedway are $14 with children 12 and under being free. Pit Passes are $25. All gates open at 4pm with hot laps starting at 6pm and racing set to begin at 7pm.
