York, PA (May 13th, 2013) – Cory Haas will face The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series three times during a four day time span beginning this Wednesday evening, May 15th, at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. ‘The Greatest Show On Dirt’ will then move on to the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania for two-full evenings of ‘410’ sprint car competition on Friday and Saturday, May 17th & 18th. York, Pennsylvania’s Cory Haas will go head-to-head with the World of Outlaws during all three programs, as the series makes it’s first appearance in Central Pennsylvania for 2013. Cory Haas is a former winner at both the Lincoln Speedway and Williams Grove Speedway, and hopes to use some ‘home track advantage’ during all three upcoming programs.

Cory Haas, who pilots the Mike Barshinger owned, Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc., York P-B Truss, Inc,. no. 11C ‘410’ sprint car regularly in Central Pennsylvania, will first meet the ‘Outlaws’ at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, May 15th for the ‘Gettysburg Clash.’ The former Lincoln Speedway ‘358’ sprint car track champion finished fourth (4th) against the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series during last year’s edition of the ‘Gettysburg Clash.’ Haas started the 30-lap main event from the inside of the ninth row, and rallied just enough positions to score the top five finish. Cory Haas is a former winner at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway, and currently sits seventh (7th) in the ‘410’ driver standings; on the strength of three (3) top five and seven (7) top ten finishes. The Mike Barshinger ‘11C’ operation hopes to lead the ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ charge against the invading World of Outlaws this Wednesday night, and earn his first career World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series victory.

The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series will move on to the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania for two-full nights of competition on Friday and Saturday, May 17th & 18th. Cory Haas is a recent winner at the world-famous half-mile dirt oval; picking up a ‘410’ main event victory at the speedway back on Friday, April 12th. Much like Lincoln Speedway, Cory Haas is a former ‘358’ sprint car track champion at the Williams Grove Speedway, and has been successful against the World of Outlaws at the oval in the past. Haas piloted the Mike Barshinger owned no. 11C ‘410’ sprinter to a tenth (10th) place finish against the series last July.
