FOREST, Ohio (October 4, 2022) – The month of October may be in full swing, but the action is still hot for Pleasant Hill, Ohio’s Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports, as the duo is set to invade the highbanks of Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio, for the two-day Xtreme Outlaw Crusade on Friday and Saturday, October 7-8. Featuring the Xtreme Outlaw Sprint Car Series, the two-day Atomic invasion will hoist a total winner’s share equalling $11,000 headlined with a $6,000-to-win finale on Saturday, October 8; Friday’s preliminary will award $5,000.
Westfall, ace of Ray Marshall’s Buckeye Machine Fabricators, Inc./Hempy Water/DPI Ink/No. 33M, will enter southern Ohio fourth in the current Xtreme Outlaw Sprint Car Series standings, highlighting his season to date with a runner-up performance during action at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Missouri, on June 11. The 2021 BOSS Series champion is 87 points from the top of the standings.
“We’re ready to go,” Westfall explained, a four-time non-wing winner thus far in 2022 including three during BOSS action. “We enjoy racing at Atomic. We’ve had our fair share of success there and we’re anxious to get back. Hopefully we can get that one for the thumb.”
Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports will enter Atomic fresh off of a Hoosier State double with USAC on September 30 and October 1. The Ohio-based team highlighted weekend results with a 15th-place performance in Lawrenceburg Speedway’s Fall Nationals.

As noted, Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports will continue their 2022 campaign with an Xtreme Outlaw Sprint Car Series doubleheader at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio, on Friday and Saturday, October 7-8. Dubbed the Atomic Xtreme Outlaw Crusade, the two-day invasion of the southern Ohio highbanks will award $5,000 and $6,000, respectively.
