VINCENTOWN, N.J. (February 26, 2024) – In all, it was an up and down afternoon for Justin Whittall in Lincoln Speedway’s season-opening Icebreaker, forced to cap the annual 30-lapper in the 20th-position after nose wing damage negated all of his forward progress. Whittall, a former Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway winner, started 21st on the $6,000-to-win grid, battling his way to top-ten contention before the aforementioned nose wing damage turned into catastrophe; it eventually detached.

“It was a wild afternoon, for sure, but that happens. Feels good to get our Pennsylvania season underway. Such an incredible turnout by the fans and we felt privileged to be a part of it,” Whittall, driver of the JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, Milky Way Restaurant, No. 67 sprinter said. “Hats off to the team for their hard work in getting this car ready for the weekend. We have a long summer ahead. We’ll put this behind us and move forward.”

Despite a tough start to his Pennsylvania season, there’s plenty of good news to report from the Vincentown, New Jersey, stable, as Milky Way Restaurant, a staple in the Fort Loudon, Pennsylvania, area with roots dating back to the 1960’s, is now a proud partner of JW Motorsports.

“We are super happy to have Milky Way Restaurant join our efforts at JW Motorsports,” Whittall added. “Great food in a great family atmosphere – there’s not much better than that. We hope our fans can join us in supporting those who support racing. We’d love to see that place packed before every race.”

ON DECK:
Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will return to Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, March 2.
