VINCENTOWN, N.J. (August 23, 2021) – It has not been a friendly stretch for Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall, but with persistence comes success, as the former Williams Grove Speedway winner finally battled his way to another top-ten score, this time during Port Royal Speedway’s Open Wheel Madness III on Saturday, August 21.

Whittall, driver of the JW Motorsports, Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Brotherton Brewing Company, Beechwood Landscape Architecture and Construction LLC, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, FK Rod Ends, Stilo Helmets, Keizer Aluminum Wheels, Enterprise, Ground Blind Boys, No. 67 sprint car, finished eighth at the Juniata County Fairgrounds half-mile, maintaining for a top-ten after starting fifth on the feature grid. Certainly no stranger to success at the Port Royal “Speed Palace,” Whitall is a former podium finisher, finishing third during the track’s first installment of Open Wheel Madness on April 24.

A 12th-place score at Williams Grove Speedway technically opened Whittall’s most recent weekend of competition; he started 17th.

“It was a decent weekend for our team. It hasn’t been the best last few weeks for us, but we never gave up. That’s always been our motto; never give up and keep working hard,” Whittall said, a Williams Grove Speedway winner on June 4. “There’s a lot of money on the line this weekend. We’re going to do what we can to put ourselves in solid positions and contend for a win.”

Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will activate the coming weekend with Selinsgrove Speedway’s Jack Gunn Memorial on Saturday, August 28. The 41st edition will award a $5,000 payday.

Action will continue on Sunday, August 29, this time joining the All Star Circuit of Champions for a one-night shootout at BAPS Motor Speedway in York Haven, Pennsylvania. Dubbed the Johnny Mackison Clash, the Sunday night showstopper will also award a $5,000 top prize.
