VINCENTOWN, N.J. (August 11, 2021) – With much of the open wheel world focused on the events at Knoxville Raceway, Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall will join in on the watch party and spend a weekend away from the steering wheel before returning to competition on Friday and Saturday, August 20-21. As routine has it, Whittall and JW Motorsports will visit Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway during their weekend return, hyped to take part in Port’s third installment of Open Wheel Madness.

Whittall, driver of the JW Motorsports, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Brotherton Brewing Company, Beechwood Landscape Architecture and Construction LLC, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, FK Rod Ends, Stilo Helmets, Keizer Aluminum Wheels, Enterprise, Ground Blind Boys, No. 67 sprint car, visited The Grove and Port’s “Speed Palace” during his most recent weekend of competition, finishing 15th and 12th, respectively.

“I think we’re all ready for a weekend off,” Whittall said, who found the podium twice thus far in 2021, one of which a victory, a first-ever victory, at Williams Grove Speedway. “We’ll take the time off to our advantage and kinda regroup for the following weekend. This will give us a fresh start for the back half of the season.”

Certainly a fan of Port’s Open Wheel Madness programs, highlighted with three classes of open wheel cars including the 410 sprints, Whittall scored a podium performance during the first installment on April 24, finishing third for his first top-five of the 2021 season. Incidentally, Whittall finished third during an Open Wheel Madness event in 2020.

“We’re hungry for another win, that’s for sure,” Whittall continued. “It’s tough out here. We race against the best each and every weekend, so the wins aren’t easy to come by. We have what it takes to be up front, so we’ll do what we can to make it happen again next weekend.”
