FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Mechanicsburg – A big program of 410 and 358 sprint car racing is on tap at Williams Grove Speedway this Friday night, September 12 at 7:30 pm when twin 410 sprint mains are spun off along with a 358 sprint car feature.
A full program of Lawrence Chevrolet 410 and Tool Shed of America 358 sprint qualifying and feature events is on the agenda as regularly slated action but a held-over, make up 25-lap 410 sprint main will also be staged.
The make-up sprint feature was originally postponed due to rain on Billy Kimmel Memorial night at the track on August 31.
There will be no increase in admission for the sprint car special this week at Williams Grove Speedway.
Adult general admission is set at $14 with youth ages 13 – 20 priced at just $8.
Senior Citizen general admission pricing will also be in effect with fans born in 1957 or earlier admitted for just $8 through the end of the season, with the exception of the October National Open.
And please remember, kids ages 12 and under are always admitted free at Williams Grove Speedway!
Both divisions of sprint cars will again be on the racing card on September 19 before a National Open tune up takes place along with the 358 sprints on September 26.
The September 26 program will also decide the 2014 Diamond Series championship for the 410 sprint cars.
The month of September is all in preparation for the the biggest sprint car show on the East Coast, the STP World of Outlaws Williams Grove Speedway National Open, coming up on Friday and Saturday, October 3 and 4.
The World of Outlaws sprint car sanctioned event will pay $50,000 to the winner of the Saturday night 40-lap National Open finale.
