BENTON RIDGE, Ohio (April 15, 2024) – In all, it was a sound night in the Buckeye State for Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing, not only concluding Attica Raceway Park’s one-night Spring Nationals program with a podium outcome, but perfecting a solid charge in the process. Wilson, ace of his own Hercules Tires, Ohio Logistics Warehousing & Transportation, DNC Hydraulics, No. W20 sprint car, finished third in the $6,000-to-win 40-lapper, commencing the April 13 program from the outside of row four.
As noted, Wilson’s Spring Nationals effort was nearly flawless from start to finish, kicking things off with the eighth-fastest qualifying time of 42 entries, racing on to finish second in his respective heat race and fourth in his respective dash. Wilson’s dash outcome secured his row four starting position.
Attica Raceway Park’s annual Spring Nationals was intended to be a two-day program, but Mother Nature had other plans.
“We really needed that,” Wilson said excitedly. “Our season started in a bad way and that really put us behind the eight ball, but to come out here and put it all together, against a great field like we had, says so much about our mentality and our potential. Everyone at Hercules, DNC Hydraulics, and Ohio Logistics deserved an outcome like this, especially after what happened to us last time out.”
A great momentum shift, nonetheless, Wilson and his family-owned team will now look to the highway, anxious to join the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in a two-day sprawl through Kentucky and Indiana on April 19-20.

Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing will continue their 2024 campaign with a World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series doubleheader in Kentucky and Indiana on Friday and Saturday, April 19-20. Wilson and the Series will invade Kentucky’s Paducah International Raceway for the first time since 2012 on Friday, April 19, then it’s on to Haubstadt, Indiana’s Tri-State Speedway on Saturday, April 20.
