World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series Stat Attack
Three races, three winners after opening weekend at DIRTcar Nationals

CONCORD, N.C. – Feb 20, 2014 – The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series opened the season with three nights of racing last Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the DIRTcar Nationals Presented by Summit Racing Equipment.

The event saw a different driver in victory lane each night. Brad Sweet took the win in his opening night of his first season as a touring driver with the Outlaws. Five-time champion Donny Schatz captured the second night of racing in dominant fashion on Saturday by surging from the 11th starting position. Steve Kinser capped off the weekend with a win on Sunday night after a fierce battle with 2013 Outlaw champion, Daryn Pittman.

Paul McMahan left Volusia Speedway Park with two top five finishes, and as event champion to take home the coveted Gator. Sweet was the only driver to win heat races on all three nights of racing. The three features combined for ninety laps of racing and 12 official lead changes.

The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Cars are on track at the Dirt Track at Las Vegas on March 5-6 to kick off the Spring Break Tour that takes the series from Las Vegas through Southern California from March 5 to April 12 at Perris Auto Speedway.
