By Fully Injected Motorsports:
JONESTOWN, Pa. (October 4, 2021) – Utilizing a World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series provisional, Central Pennsylvania favorite and World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year contender, Brock Zearfoss, took full advantage of the opportunity to start Williams Grove Speedway’s $75,000-to-win National Open finale on Saturday, October 2, and eventually rallied nine spots to finish 16th, ending his campaign just behind the “Myerstown Missile” Brent Marks and CJB Motorsports’ Spencer Bayston.
Although not his top performance of the year, earning 21 World of Outlaws top-ten finishes to date, Zearfoss remained focused and determined, ultimately battling by some of the best in the business.
Not deterred, Zearfoss, driver of his own Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Meckley’s Limestone Products, Berkebile Oil Company, Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, X-1 Race Cars, No. 3Z sprint car, will have the chance to compete in front of his home fans yet again, following the World of Outlaws trail to familiar territory in Juniata County.
Dubbed the Nittany Showdown, Port Royal Speedway’s two-day blockbuster on October 8-9 will award $10,000 and $15,000, respectively, as well as conclude all World of Outlaws competition in the Keystone State for the 2021 season.
Zearfoss is certainly no stranger to action at the Port Royal “Speed Palace,” as the nearby Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native was the 2017 Port Royal track champion.
“We’re ready to go again,” Brock Zearfoss said, who earned his most recent World of Outlaws top-ten during action at Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford, California. “You can’t stay discouraged for too long when racing against the World of Outlaws because the other drivers and teams take no pity. Every day is a new day and you have to take full advantage of that. I’m hoping for big things at Port Royal. I know our team is more than capable of winning.”
Brock Zearfoss is currently ninth in the World of Outlaws driver standings just behind Kraig Kinser and James McFadden.
