JONESTOWN, Pa. (August 19, 2019) – Despite kicking-off his weekend with mechanical woes at I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Michigan, the ‘Jonestown Jet’ Brock Zearfoss rebounded in a big way on Saturday night at Plymouth Speedway in Plymouth, Indiana, and scored a podium run.

Zearfoss, driver of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Meckley’s Limestone Products/Berkebile Oil Company/River City Wood Products/No. 70 sprint car, finished second during his visit to northern Indiana, rallying ahead two spots after starting fourth on the feature grid.

Despite falling just short of the overall goal, Zearfoss was in a prime position to score his third All Star Circuit of Champions victory of the 2019 season, but a lapped car that was trapped between himself and race leader, Aaron Reutzel, on the final circuit kept Zearfoss at bay.

The Jonestown, Pennsylvania-native was scored 16th at I-96 Speedway one night prior.

“We had some mechanical issues on Friday, but we made up for that on Saturday – big time,” Zearfoss said, who owns a pair of All Star victories in New York in 2019. “We are pumped about running second, but we are even more excited about getting back to our homebase for a few weeks. We haven’t been home in nearly a month. I’m excited to get back in my own bed.”

Brock Zearfoss will resume his All Star Circuit of Champions schedule with a four-pack in the Keystone State. The four-day invasion of Central Pennsylvania will ignite on Thursday evening, August 22, at the always-racey Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania.

Action will move to the historic Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg on Friday, August 23, followed by a visit to the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown on Saturday, August 24. The weekend will conclude on Sunday, August 25, at BAPS Motor Speedway near York Haven.

The events at Grandview Speedway, Lincoln Speedway and BAPS Motor Speedway will each award $5,000 top prizes. The format at Williams Grove Speedway will feature twin main events, each awarding $4,000 paydays. Brock Zearfoss will enter the weekend fifth in the current All Star driver championship chase.
