JONESTOWN, Pa. (August 8, 2022) – The “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss did his best to get elbows up Friday and Saturday night at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri, and elbows up is what he accomplished, capping the annual 55-lap, $20,000-to-win Ironman 55 with a seventh-place score. The recent World of Outlaws winner at Cedar Lake Speedway started in the exact same position, eventually notching his 14th top-ten result of the year.
One night prior, Zearfoss, driver of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Berkebile Oil Company, X-1 Race Cars, K1 RaceGear, No 3Z sprint car, finished 14th in the Ironman 55 preliminary, salvaging a respectable finish after a first lap tangle that sent the Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native to the work area.
“A big thanks to everyone who stepped up and helped us get back out on Friday night,” Zearfoss said. “We were able to return and salvage a finish and that’s a big deal. To turn things around and score a top-ten in the 55-lapper served as a big momentum kick for us. The biggest week of the year is upon us and we’re ready to get rolling.”

Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their sophomore campaign with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series with the coveted Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Thursday through Saturday, August 10-13; Saturday’s feature will award $175,000-to-win and $10,000-to-start.
