Zearfoss Searches for Second Victory of the Season
JONESTOWN, Pa. (June 13, 2016) – Brock Zearfoss, a recent winner in Central Pennsylvania during 410 sprint car competition, will return to action this Friday and Saturday with routine stops in the Keystone State. Zearfoss, pilot of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Meckley’s Limestone, Central Builders Supply Co., Leach’s Automotive, No. 3Z, will visit Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, June 17, followed by a trip to the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace” on Saturday, June 18. The Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native has been consistent on all levels in 2016 and is currently sixth in the Port Royal Speedway championship chase.
“We had a short weekend this past weekend, so I’m ready to get back to work,” said Brock Zearfoss. “We’ll follow our usual circle and visit Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway. We’re hungry to get that second victory. I think we have a shot this weekend. Regardless, we’ll use our time wisely and prep for select shows during Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek.”
With the USAC champ cars taking over Williams Grove Speedway, Brock Zearfoss made the trip to Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, on Friday evening, June 10, entering the “Friday Night Lights” program worth $3,500. The “Jonestown Jet” finished 6th during the 25-lap main event, a slight fade after starting from the pole position.
“We were in a position to win, we just made a few wrong choices with the car,” said Brock Zearfoss. “We learned some things and we’ll use them when we head back to Selinsgrove for speedweek. I just can’t thank the team enough. We’ve been on a pretty big mental high as of late. We’ll keep working for that second victory.”
