2022 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Championship Standings: Tenth | 6,826 points [ 820 points behind championship leader, Brad Sweet]

JONESTOWN, Pa. (September 22, 2022) – Despite what turned out to be a frustrating ending to their Gold Cup Race of Champions outing at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, California, ultimately missing the weekend’s $25,000-to-win finale, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss is ready to move on, already setting his target on Keller Auto Speedway’s Tom Tarlton Classic scheduled for Friday, September 16.
The final West Coast event of the 2022 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series schedule, the Tom Tarlton Classic will award a $21,000 payday, adding to a rich stretch for the “Greatest Show On Dirt” that also included the $26,000-to-win Sage Fruit Skagit Nationals and $25,000-to-win Gold Cup Race at Champions.
Despite the aforementioned ending to their Gold Cup weekend, Zearfoss had plenty of shining moments including finishing 12th in Thursday’s preliminary program.
“Not the best of weekends for the team, but we’ll keep our heads up high and move forward,” Zearfoss said, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Berkebile Oil Company, X-1 Race Cars, K1 RaceGear, No. 3Z sprint car. “We have a big one coming up on Friday. We’d love to conclude our West Coast swing with a $21,000 score.”
