JONESTOWN, Pa. (October 24, 2022) – The “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss may have had a rocky ending to his 2022 Williams Grove Speedway National Open campaign, returning to score a 15th-place finish after being involved in a multi-car incident during the $75,000-to-win A-Main, but the Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native is ready to move on, setting his aim on the annual World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte.

Certainly no stranger to the state-of-the-art oval, Zearfoss, ace of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Berkebile Oil Company, X-1 Race Cars, K1 RaceGear, No. 3Z sprint car, was successful in the year-end headliner in 2021, finishing second in Saturday’s finale after starting fifth on the A-Main grid. In fact, the only competitor to outrace Zearfoss in North Carolina was fellow Pennsylvania native and cousin Brent Marks, who started fourth in the 25-lapper.

Zearfoss will enter the World of Outlaws World Finals tenth in the championship standings, padded by a victory at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin.

“We’re ready to get back to Charlotte,” Zearfoss said, a sophomore with the Greatest Show On Dirt. “It’s been a trying year, for sure, but to end the year where we’ve had success is motivating for our team. We’d love to end the year in the exact manner we ended last year…hopefully a position better. Hats off to this entire team, and to all of our partners. Everyone hung tough this year and gave it their all. It’s not easy being out on the road.”

ON DECK:
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their sophomore campaign with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series with the season-ending World Finals on November 2-5 at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina. The Greatest Show on Dirt will be joined by the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Model Series and Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds for one huge weekend to conclude the 2022 season.
