JONESTOWN, Pa. (June 28, 2021) – The month of June was not too kind to Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing, but despite the bad luck and periods of frustration, the 2021 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Rookie of the Year contender will keep his head held high and aim to jump start the month of July in a big way during Cedar Lake Speedway’s upcoming doubleheader.

Dubbed the Independence Day Spectacular, the two-day visit to Cedar Lake Speedway on Friday and Saturday, July 2-3, will not only award a pair of $10,000 top prizes, but it will activate a big money month for the Greatest Show On Dirt that includes Attica’s Brad Doty Classic, a pair of $175,000-to-win Kings Royals at Eldora Speedway, the $25,000-to-win Silver Cup at Lernerville Speedway, and the annual Summer Nationals at Williams Grove Speedway awarding $20,000.

Brock Zearfoss will enter his July stretch with nine World of Outlaws top-ten finishes to his credit, the most recent at Beaver Dam Raceway where the “Jonestown Jet” finished tenth; Zearfoss is currently tenth in the World of Outlaws driver championship.

“It can be tough on you, but if running the Outlaws schedule was easy, a lot more teams would do it. I’m proud of what we are doing and I know what our potential is,” Brock Zearfoss said, driver of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Meckley’s Limestone Products, Berkebile Oil Company, Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, X-1 Race Cars, No. 3Z sprint car. “We just need to find some rhythm. We’ve had a lot of speed, but everytime we feel like we catch a break, bad luck strikes. We’ll shake it off and keep moving forward. That’s all you can do.”

Recent highlights for Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing include qualifying for the $50,000-to-win Jackson Nationals finale at Jackson Motorplex on Sunday, June 27; Zearfoss finished 20th after starting in the exact same position.

The Jonestown, Pennsylvania-native was well on his way to a top-ten performance during Jackson Nationals preliminary action on Thursday, June 24, but a cut tire decided otherwise.
