JONESTOWN, Pa. (June 27, 2022) – The “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss was a man on a mission during his visit to Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota, ultimately capping his High Bank Nationals campaign with three consecutive top-ten finishes including his season’s first top-five, doing so during night one of the three-day blockbuster on Thursday, June 23. The Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native started from the pole in Thursday’s $15,000-to-win preliminary, leading the first three circuits until Buddy Kofoid got the best of the World of Outlaws sophomore on lap four.

Zearfoss, who had five top-ten finishes entering the highly-sought after High Bank Nationals tripleheader, was battling in the third spot coming to the white flag, but a bobble cost an additional position to Parker Price-Miller; he finished fourth.

High Bank Nationals action continued for Brock Zearfoss with a tenth-place performance during the $20,000-to-win preliminary on Friday, June 24. Despite backing up a single position after starting ninth on the grid, Zearfoss’ combined effort over Thursday and Friday was good enough to lock himself into Saturday’s $100,000-to-win finale; he would go on to finish seventh from fifth.

“What an effort by this team all weekend, and what perfect timing, especially with so many big events coming up,” Zearfoss said, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Berkebile Oil Company, X-1 Race Cars, K1 RaceGear, No. 3Z sprint car. “We needed a weekend like that to kinda kick-start the second half of the year. We have the potential to be as quick as anyone on the planet, and I think our results this weekend proved that. I’m excited to head to Cedar Lake and see what we can do.”

ON DECK:
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their sophomore campaign with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series with the Independence Day Spectacular doubleheader at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin, on Friday and Saturday, July 1-2.
