Jared Miley Prepares for Eventful Month of May;
Action Ignites at Legendary Hilltop Speedway on May 6

PITTSBURGH (May 3, 2016) – Jared Miley Racing will kick start an action packed month of May beginning Friday evening, May 6; filled to the brim with travel, stout competition, and potential high dollar payouts. Jared Miley, pilot of the Jared Miley Racing, Jay’s Auto Wrecking, Sprague Farm & Brew Works, Keystone Alliance Insurance Services,LLC of Spring City, Maloney’s Classic Cars of Meadville, Junior’s Cores & Recycling, Colussy Chevrolet, No. H1, will enter a minimum of three events over the course of the next two weeks, all beginning with STARS Late Models competition in Marietta, Ohio.
“Having an opportunity to travel a little bit extra is exciting for our team,” explained Jared Miley. “We wanted to pack our schedule with as much regional competition as possible. We are fortunate enough to live in an area where we can travel within 2-4 hours of our race shop and race for a minimum of $3,000 on any given weekend. That says a lot about the area we race in. We want to take advantage of the scheduling and enter as many shows as we can.”
Jared Miley will join the recently revived STARS Late Models on Friday evening, May 6, at the Legendary Hilltop Speedway in Marietta, Ohio. The $3,000-to-win, Legends 30 will headline action at the quarter-mile paper clip, the first of two, $3,000-to-win events on tap during the upcoming weekend.
“The Jet” will resume competition on Saturday evening, May 7, at “The Bullring” in Middlebourne, West Virginia. Tyler County Speedway will host the 50-lap, Topless 50, awarding a $3,000 top prize, sanctioned by the UFo Championship super late models. Miley has already made one appearance at Tyler County Speedway in 2016, earning a top-ten finish during the 27th annual Earl Hill Memorial.
Miley’s month of May will feature at least one additional $3,000-to-win showcase; the 35-lap, Herb Scott Memorial, also sanctioned by the UFo Championship super late models, will be the main attraction at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway on Saturday evening, May 14. The nearby South Park, Pennsylvania, native is a former main event winner and track champion at “Dirt’s Monster Half-Mile” and will attempt to use home dirt advantage during the UFo invasion.
“As much as we love to travel, an opportunity to race for a raised purse close to home is special, too,” said Jared Miley. “I think we have the potential to win all three events we plan to enter the next two weekends, especially at ‘P.P.M.S.’ on May 14. All of our family and friends will be there. That will give us a little extra motivation to win. I can’t thank my team and supporters enough for their hard work and dedication. We want to end the month of May on a hot streak. It would be a great way to transition ourselves into June, just in time for the Firecracker 100 at Lernerville Speedway.”
