PENNDEL, Pa. (May 13, 2019) – Pennsylvania Posse Country is about to hit high gear, as the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series is set to invade Central Pennsylvania for the first time in 2019. Lincoln Speedway, a Saturday night home to many of Pennsylvania’s finest winged warriors, will be the first stop on the Outlaws’ agenda, invading the Pigeon Hills on Wednesday evening, May 15.

Like many others from the Keystone State, Penndel, Pennsylvania’s Brett Michalski will attempt to do his part in defending home dirt against the Outlaws on Wednesday night, ultimately working to qualify for World of Outlaws main event competition, as well as contest for a win against some of the best sprint car drivers in the country.

“We understand what we are up against, but we couldn’t be more excited,” Brett Michalski explained, driver of the Brett Michalski Motorsports/JR Michalski Heating & Air Conditioning/Irish Rover Station House/York by Johnson Controls/Wood Services/Big Heads/No. 73B sprint car. “The atmosphere during the World of Outlaws events in Central Pennsylvania are second to none. No matter the outcome, our plan is to race hard and have fun; we have nothing to lose.”

During a recent trip to the Pigeon Hills, the 2018 Lincoln Speedway Rookie of the Year participated in a pair of main events on Saturday, May 11; the previously scheduled World of Outlaws tune-up, as well as a makeup feature that was originally slated for May 4. Although Michalski’s outcomes were below expectation, 19th during the World of Outlaws tune-up and 16th during the makeup program, the lap time achieved was important.

“We’re constantly working for ways to improve,” Michalski added. “We’ve had some solid finishes this season, we just need to work on our consistency.”
