SWEENEY RUSH LATE MODEL TOUR TO JOIN ANOTHER SIGNATURE EVENT AS PART OF HESSTON’S “ULTIMATE” OCTOBER 11-12 FOR $2,500 TO-WIN By Mike Leone

January 18, 2013 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Pulaski, PA)… The Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Dirt Late Model Touring Series is thrilled to announce it will be part of “The Ultimate” at Hesston Speedway on October 11-12! RUSH will join the Super Lates and the regional Semi-Late division making for a Late Model fan’s dream of three Late Model divisions in one weekend at the Huntingdon, Pa. oval! The event is part of the rebirth of the old, traditional and highly-successful “Fall Fest” that was held at The Challenger Raceway in Indiana, Pa.

“The Ultimate” will be another signature marquee event on the inaugural 25-event Sweeney Chevrolet RUSH Touring Series slate with $2,500 to-win, $250 to-start! Qualifying events will be contested on Friday night with the last chance and feature events on Saturday night. A higher tow money package will also be in effect.

“We’re very excited to be able to go to Hesston and be part of this event,” stated RUSH Co-Director Vicki Emig. “Hesston contacted us right when we were ready to put out our schedule so we put this weekend down as a TBA. We’re grateful to be able to offer another high-dollar event for our racers with the same purse structure as the Hagerstown event on April 20. It also continues the growth in the central part of the state and eastern portions of our region.”

Since being formed less than two months ago, the Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Dirt Late Model Series has quickly established itself with the region’s marquee events and has joined together with many other top sanctioning bodies. RUSH will be part of the “Apple Festival National” at Sharon Speedway, “Fall Classic” at McKean County Raceway, the “Big Kahuna” at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex, “The Ultimate” at Hesston, and the “Steel City Stampede” at Lernerville Speedway.

The Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Dirt Late Model Touring Series will also race together with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Roaring Knob and Hagerstown Speedways April 19-20, and several appearances together with the ULMS Super Late Models, Three State Flyers, BRP Big-Block Modified Tour, and the BOSS Wingless Sprint Series.
