Cory Haas will look to defend his Billy Kimmel Memorial title tonight at Williams Grove Speedway – WRT Photo
York, Pennsylvania native, Cory Haas, competed in Lincoln Speedway’s last point race of the year for the 410 sprint cars last night, September 3rd. The 358 sprint car graduate started off the evening by winning his respective heat race in dominate fashion; landing himself a fifth row start in the evening’s feature event. The former Lincoln Speedway 358 Track Champion started 10th in the main event; eventually finding himself battling for a top five position up until the last lap. A last lap caution would regroup the field-resulting in a restart mishap for the 11c pilot. Haas would have to settle for an 8th place finish after jumping the cushion on the last restart. He will be back in action tonight at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania to defend his Billy Kimmel Memorial title!
