Marks Ready to Battle Outlaws at Port Royal’s Speed Palace
“Myerstown Missile” Hunts for Career First WoO Victory

Myerstown, PA (October 20, 2015) – The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series will make their final central Pennsylvania appearance of the 2015 season this Saturday night, October 24, and battle the “Pennsylvania Posse” on Port Royal Speedway’s half-mile. Brent Marks, a three-time winner at Port Royal, Pennsylvania’s “Speed Palace” in 2015, is all set to go head-to-head against the “Greatest Show On Dirt” and attempt to earn a career first victory against the national travelers. Marks, pilot of the BAPS Auto Paint & Supplies, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Diamond Toyota, Russell Heller Builders, #19M, 410 sprint car, finished seventh in 2014 against the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at Port Royal Speedway, moving forward from a sixth row starting position.
“We are really excited for the upcoming weekend” said Brent Marks, “We found something that works really well at Port Royal and we’ve been able to create a lot of speed lately. I have a great group of guys who never give up and it shows. We didn’t get to test anything last weekend with the weather being bad, but I don’t think that will affect our confidence. We are all definitely motivated to get that first win against the World of Outlaws.”
Brent Marks is a three-time winner at Port Royal Speedway in 2015, with all three victories taking shape during major events in the second half of the season. The “Myerstown Missile” not only earned Labor Day Classic and Night Before The 50 victories at the “Speed Palace,” but continued his fair week dominance by capturing the Tuscarora 50 against the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions worth over $12,000. Brent Marks has three top-ten finishes against World of Outlaws in 2015
Despite the recent Port Royal Speedway dominance, Brent Marks will have to enter the upcoming weekend “cold.” The Myerstown, Pennsylvania, native lost back-to-back programs last Saturday and Sunday, including a World of Outlaws “Tune-Up” at Port Royal Speedway, to Mother Nature.
