Brodie Oravetz Ends Season with Nearly 80 Kart Starts
Earns Impressive 34 Podium Finishes

Imperial, PA (November 19, 2015) – With the 2015 season coming to a close, western Pennsylvania youngster Brodie Oravetz can finally rest his feet. The regional karting star entered nearly 80 events during his 2015 campaign, 76 to be exact, amassing an impressive 34 podium finishes, including four victories at three different venues. Oravetz visited Naugle Speedway victory lane twice during the recent season, while earning one feature win at Shaffer’s Speedway, as well as one during Pittsfield Championship Karting Association action.
While trekking back and forth across the region for karting events, Oravetz made visits to eight different tracks in 2015, finishing a season high second in the final Slippery Rock Raceway rookie class point championship. Oravetz was also a regular during RUSH Memorial Cup Series competition, finishing third in the junior class championship. The Imperial, Pennsylvania, native made the most of his season on the road and looks forward to a similar schedule in 2016.
Exact plans for next season have yet to be determined, but the goal remains the same; travel and succeed. Oravetz hopes to be a regular once again with the RUSH Memorial Cup Series, as well as follow the Maxxis Ultimate Kart Series schedule; a collection of races hosted in areas between North Carolina and Ohio. The youngster will continue to follow the karting path for the next few seasons, hoping to make the jump into “bigger” divisions in the near future.
