Arctic Cat All-Star Triple-Header Next for the “Texas Traveler”
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
FREMONT, Ohio (April 11, 2016) – After two consecutive postponed events resulting from poor weather conditions, the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions will attempt to activate their 2016 point championship during the upcoming weekend. The “Texas Traveler” T.J. Michael, the most recent driver to announce his full-time commitment to the series in 2016, will join the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions this Friday through Sunday, April 15-17; visiting three different tracks in two different states.
“We have a lot to prepare for, but I’m excited to be a part of it,” explained T.J. Michael. “Following a major series has always been a dream of mine and for that to finally happen is really exciting. We’ll be on the road a lot this weekend, but that’s what makes it challenging and a lot of fun. Hopefully we can go out there and earn three solid finishes and kick-off the point championship in the right direction.”
T.J. Michael, a Plano, Texas, native who headquarters his race team in Fremont, Ohio, will jump start the upcoming Arctic Cat All Star triple-header on Friday evening, April 15, at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. Action will resume on Saturday evening, April 16, at the Wayne County Speedway near Orrville, Ohio. The three-race weekend will conclude on Sunday night, April 17, at the Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania. Michael has made prior visits to Attica Raceway Park and Wayne County Speedway over the course of his young career, but has never visited the Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway half-mile. The “Texas Traveler” earned a 305 sprint car victory at Attica Raceway Park during the 2015 season, as well as earned a runner-up finish at Wayne County Speedway during 410 sprint car competition.
“I think it’s a good thing we visit two tracks I am familiar with before going to Bedford on Sunday,” explained Michael, pilot of the Michael Motorsports, Advanced Cast Stone, Fremont Fence Company, Kear’s Speed Shop, No.8M. “We want to build some positive momentum before heading into Pennsylvania. I think we have the potential to do a lot of great things this weekend. I want to thank my dad, team, and all of my sponsors for their support. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their involvement. We are all really anxious to get this All Star season started.”
