Alan Krimes Earns Back-to-Back Top-Five Finishes in “Posse Country”

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

DENVER, Pa. (April 4, 2016) – “Super” Alan Krimes proved once again that he is always in the hunt, no matter where the driver of the familiar No. 87 is scheduled to start. The Denver, Pennsylvania, native certainly proved that theory correct during the recent weekend; earning back-to-back top-five finishes in “Posse Country,” including a fourth place finish at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, April 2, after starting on the inside of row eight. Krimes now has two top-five finishes on the season at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway and will enter the upcoming weekend currently fourth in the track championship chase.

“We had a good car on Saturday night,” explained Alan Krimes, the 2014 Lincoln Speedway track champion. “We had a little bit of help along the way with some guys not finishing who started in front of us, but we kept ourselves out of trouble and moved forward the entire race. If we want to keep ourselves in the championship hunt, we’ll need to stay consistent. It says a lot about this race team when we can advance that far in just 25 laps.”

Alan Krimes, pilot of the Wayne Corini, Krimes Racing Engines, VRP Shocks, Abe Service Company, Glick’s Auto Body & Towing, Roadrunner Race Fuels, No. 87, kicked-off the recent weekend with a runner-up performance at the Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, April 1, after starting third on the feature grid. The night ignited with a charge from seventh to fourth during heat race competition, automatically qualifying Krimes for the feature redraw. The runner-up finish was his best of the season thus far at Williams Grove Speedway.

The upcoming weekend will be more than busy, as Krimes plans to compete in three consecutive events at three different facilities. Alan Krimes will visit Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, April 8, followed by a trip back to the Lincoln Speedway on Saturday night, April 9. The upcoming triple-header weekend will conclude with a visit to the Susquehanna Speedway near York Haven, Pennsylvania, on Sunday, April 10. The newly renovated Susquehanna Speedway will host the 410 sprinters for the first time in 2016 on Sunday night, the first of seven total appearances this season.

“We always look forward to big weekends,” said Alan Krimes. “Hopefully we can keep up our consistency and earn three solid finishes. We are all pretty anxious to visit Susquehanna Speedway on Sunday. We’ve heard great things about what they’ve done to the place over the last few months. I’m excited to get there and see all of the changes. I want to take the time to thank all of our sponsors again. We have some new supporters in 2016. Their help allows us to participate in three-race weekends like the one coming up.”
