Alan Krimes Rolls Home Sixth; Three Consecutive Top Ten Finishes

Abbottstown, PA (March 10th, 2013) – Alan Krimes continues to display relentless consistency so far during his 2013 campaign. The Denver, Pennsylvania native has scored three consecutive top ten finishes in ‘410’ sprint car competition at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania; with his most recent finish resulting in a sixth place performance. Taking into consideration that the Conestoga Valley Garage ‘87’ has only been entered in three events so far this season (the first three events of the 2013 Lincoln Speedway schedule), it is true to say that the team is on a very important streak. One of Krimes’ goals in 2013 is to earn the Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ sprint car track championship. If the first three weekends give any indication to how the rest of the year will play out, I believe it is safe to say that Krimes may be in contention to complete that goal.
Alan Krimes and the Conestoga Valley Garage ‘87’ team finished sixth (6th) on Saturday afternoon, March 9th, at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway. The former winner at the Pigeon Hills 3/8’s mile oval secured his spot in the 25 lap, ‘410’ main event by finishing second during his respective heat race. Krimes would successfully hold off fellow Central Pennsylvania forces such as Danny Dietrich; 2013 winner, Jim Siegel; Greg Hodett; and Fred Rahmer to solidify himself inside the top six. There were 25 sprinters signed-in for action on Saturday afternoon.
Alan Krimes will be back in action next Saturday evening at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The track will switch to evening competition beginning next Saturday, March 16th. For more information, please visit Lincoln Speedway’s online home at www.lincolnspeedway.com .
The Conestoga Valley Garage ‘87’ team will be a part of all of the action each and every weekend in the heart of ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ territory.
