Bova Will Restart Season on Friday at Attica Raceway Park!

STRUTHERS, Ohio (April 13, 2016) – After suffering from mechanical misfortune during his first start of the season, followed by a weekend completely overrun by Mother Nature, Cody Bova will finally have the chance to restart his 2016 season on Friday night at Attica Raceway Park.
Bova, a Struthers, Ohio, native who will follow the entire JLH General Contractors FAST 305 Series presented by Engine Pro schedule in 2016, will enter the 305 sprint car portion of the HD Supply Spring Nationals at Attica Raceway Park this Friday, April 15, working to qualify for his first ever main event at the Attica, Ohio, short track.
“We are almost out of patience,” explained Cody Bova. “We are wanting to race in the worst way. I’m really anxious to get another try at Attica Raceway Park. We’ll be making a lot of visits there during our FAST Series schedule, so it’s in our best interest to record as many laps there as possible. Our first attempt during Attica’s opening night didn’t go as planned, but we’ll try to make up for that on Friday night.”
After his visit to Attica Raceway Park, Cody Bova, pilot of the Bova Racing, J.S. Bova Excavating, AIMI Product Imagining, LLC., Richardson Tree Service, No.20B, will make his return to Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania, on Saturday night, April 16. The season opener will award a $1,000 top prize. Bova earned five feature victories at the Mercer oval in 2015 during 305 sprint car competition, as well as the overall track championship. Despite not hunting for a second consecutive title during his 2016 campaign, Bova will still attempt to return to familiar victory lane real estate as often as possible.
“We’ll make time to race at Mercer as much as we can, as long as it doesn’t interfere with our FAST schedule,” said Bova. “We had a great season there in 2015. It’s what I would consider my home track. I want to take the time to thank my family, supporters and all of my major sponsors. Without their help and support, we wouldn’t be able to follow the FAST Series schedule in 2016.”
