Brent Marks Goes Two for Three on the Weekend, Four Events During Labor Day Weekend Ahead

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

MYERSTOWN, PA (August 29, 2016) – In dominating fashion, the “Myerstown Missile” Brent Marks lived up to his label during the recent weekend, scoring three consecutive podium finishes in Central Pennsylvania, two of which resulting in victory lane appearances. The back-to-back victories on August 27-28 raised his win total to four this season, surpassing his win total in 2015.

“Man, we really needed that,” Marks explained. “Just a really awesome weekend for this team. We were able to put together three great performances. This Maxim is doing wonders right now. It took us a little bit of time to figure out where we needed to be, but I think we are there. We were down in the dumps a little bit coming into the weekend. We regrouped this past week and came out blazing. I’m really happy for this race team. I’m excited to get Labor Day weekend rolling.”

Brent Marks kicked off his recent podium run with a third place finish at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, August 26. The pilot of the Brent Marks Racing, M&M Painting & Construction, BAPS Auto Paint & Supply, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Russell Heller Builders, KC Automotive, No. 19M entry scored his first win of the weekend at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, August 27, followed by a trip to victory lane at Path Valley Speedway Park on Sunday, August 28. Marks now has two victories at Port Royal’s “Speed Palace” in 2016, accompanied by wins at Trail-Way Speedway and Path Valley. Interestingly enough, Marks has been victorious at Path Valley Speedway Park in every division he has ever participated in.

Up next on the schedule, Brent Marks Racing will participate in four events in four days during Labor Day weekend, including two starts in the state of Ohio with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions.

The long weekend will activate officially with a return to the Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, September 2, followed by back-to-back, $10,000-to-win, Arctic Cat All Star programs including the Dirt Classic Ohio at Attica Raceway Park on Saturday, September 3, and the Pete Jacobs Memorial at Wayne County Speedway on Sunday, September 4. Marks will conclude his holiday weekend with a return to the Port Royal Speedway on Monday, September 5, attempting to defend his 2015 Labor Day Classic victory.

“We have a big weekend ahead,” Marks said. “Coming off of a weekend like we had makes preparing a lot more fun. Our attitudes will be better and we’ll be motivated to get back out on the road. This team has a ton of potential and the ability to score wins. I’m glad we are able to harness that.”
