Dietrich Scores Podium Run at The Grove, Four Race Weekend Ahead!

GETTYSBURG, PA (August 29, 2016) – Danny Dietrich ended his month of August with a pair of top-ten performances during action in Central Pennsylvania, including a podium finish at the world-famous Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, August 26. “Double-D” drove home second at the paperclip, a perfect test session for the Gary Beam Sprint Tribute scheduled for September 2 worth $4,088.
Dietrich’s second top-ten finish of the recent weekend occurred at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, August 27, charging from 12th to finish sixth in the running order.
“It wasn’t a bad weekend. We just aren’t really satisfied yet with how things are going,” Danny Dietrich explained. “We just need to build some rhythm. I have a great group of guys who put me in great equipment – I can’t thank them enough for their hard work day-in and day-out. We have a big weekend ahead with four races in four days. If there is a perfect time to get hot, it’s now.”
In addition to the Gary Beam Tribute on Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway, Danny Dietrich will enter three other events during Labor Day weekend including the Juniata County Fair opener at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, September 3, the Billy Kimmel Memorial worth $3,800 at Williams Grove Speedway on Sunday, September 4, and the Labor Day Classic at Port Royal Speedway on Monday, September 5.
“We had a few options this weekend, but felt Port Royal Speedway was our best bet for Saturday since we’ll be making multiple starts there during the next two weekends,” Dietrich said. “We’ll work as hard as we can to get up front. We aren’t satisfied unless we are on top.”
