Brent Marks Preps for Arctic Cat All Star Appearance at Atomic Speedway
Earns Podium Finish at Williams Grove on March 25

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

MYERSTOWN, Pa. (March 28, 2016) – After spending the last few weeks racing throughout much of the Central Pennsylvania circuit, the “Myerstown Missile” Brent Marks will take the next step in 2016 and help the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions debut their 2016 point championship season with competition at the Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio. Marks, a recent All Star winner at the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania, will travel west from his Myerstown, Pennsylvania, home and join the traveling Arctic Cat All Stars for the “Rumble in the Hills” on Saturday, April 2, worth $5,000. It will be a first ever Atomic Speedway appearance for Brent Marks Racing.

“We are pretty excited to get back to All Star racing this weekend,” Brent Marks said. “We are going to travel as much as we can to race with those guys. The series has done a great job molding into something that is really professional and fun to race with. We’ve never been to Atomic Speedway before, so I’m definitely excited to get there on Saturday and see it for myself. Hopefully things go according to plan and we can earn a solid finish. I just want to thank my sponsors and supporters, and especially my team, for all of their support. We’ll be up against some tough competition all weekend, but my guys will be ready for the challenge.”

Before traveling west, Brent Marks will kick-off the upcoming weekend with action close to home at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg on Friday night, April 1. The pilot of the Brent Marks Racing, M&M Painting & Construction, BAPS Auto Paint & Supply, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Russell Heller Builders, No. 19M finished on the podium during his most recent start at the world famous half-mile; crossing under the final checkers second in the running order on Friday evening, March 25. The runner-up performance was his best finish of the year thus far at Williams Grove Speedway, bettering his eighth place finish during week one.

“We had a really good run at Williams Grove Speedway last Friday,” explained Brent Marks. “Greg (Hodnett) and I raced really hard and it was fun. I just wish the results were reversed. Congrats to him and his team. They have been hot this year.”

Other recent results include finishing 11th during the $5,000-to-win, Sprint Spring Championship at Lincoln Speedway near Abbottstown on Saturday, March 26.

“Our car was a lot better than what the results read,” said Marks. “We were a little off during time trials which put us behind the rest of the night. Had a great run during the heat race, but there wasn’t a redraw, so we had to start toward the back of the feature. We did the best that we could despite the track conditions. We’ve been working on some different things, so that’s exciting. We’ll try them again this weekend.”
