Danny Dietrich with Strong Weekend in Central PA

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (March 28, 2016) – Two more starts equalled two more solid finishes for Gettysburg, Pa., native Danny Dietrich; earning back-to-back top-ten results in Central Pennsylvania on Friday and Saturday, March 25-26. “Double-D” rallied a grand total of 13 positions during his two nights of competition, highlighted with a fourth place finish during Lincoln Speedway’s $5,000-to-win, Sprint Spring Championship on Saturday, March 26. The pilot of the Gary Kauffman Racing, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Hickory Run Orchards, Weikert’s Livestock, Carlisle Auto Salvage, CATS Used Truck Parts, No. 48 started seventh on the Lincoln Speedway feature grid, advancing three positions to solidify himself inside the top-five.
“The car was great all weekend,” Danny Dietrich said. “This is the best we’ve had it all year. We’ve been doing a little ‘research and development’ the last few weekends, but I think we can finally put that to rest. Our time in victory lane is coming soon. We’ll work to get it done next weekend. I just can’t thank my team and car owner enough for what they do. They make everything possible.”
Danny Dietrich kicked-off the recent weekend with an appearance at the Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, March 25. An impressive forward charge from 17th on the feature grid would highlight Dietrich’s night at the world famous half-mile, advancing a total of ten positions to finish seventh at the end of 25 laps. It was a second consecutive top-ten finish at “The Grove” in 2016.
Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will return to competition this Friday and Saturday with another round of action in Central Pennsylvania. “Double-D” will hunt for his first victory of the season on Friday night, April 1, at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg. Another shot at victory lane will take shape on Saturday night, April 2, back at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown. Dietrich has earned four consecutive top-ten finishes during his first four starts of the season in the Pigeon Hills.
