Brent Marks Shows Speed with Outlaws in Texas;
Will Join PA Posse on March 5 at Lincoln

Myerstown, PA (March 2, 2016) – Brent Marks officially kicked-off his 2016 campaign with a full weekend of World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Cars competition, joining the “Greatest Show On Dirt” for back-to-back events in the state of Texas. The Myerstown, Pennsylvania, native, who was competing in Texas for the first time in his career, proved to be competitive during his entire weekend venture; qualifying for each World of Outlaws main event through his respective heat race. The “Myerstown Missile” finished 13th at Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige on Friday night, February 26, after starting 19th on the main event grid. Marks followed that performance with a 17th place finish at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown on Saturday, February 27.
“We had a ton of fun in Texas” Brent Marks explained, “It was a long trip, but definitely worth the miles. We were able to show speed during the entire weekend…that says a lot about this race team. We were able to show up at two new tracks and adjust quickly right out of the gate. I think we were a little better than where we finished, especially on Saturday night. We were a dash car, but found some trouble during the A-main. Regardless, we are proud of what we accomplished. We’ll take the next few days to regroup and get ready for a short trip to Lincoln Speedway on Saturday.”
Brent Marks and his Brent Marks Racing, M&M Painting & Construction, BAPS Auto Paint & Supply, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Russell Heller Builders, KC Automotive, No. 19M team will continue their 2016 schedule on Saturday, March 5, at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Marks will attempt to conquer “Pennsylvania Posse” competition for the first time in 2016 on Saturday afternoon. The “Missile” was a three-time Central Pennsylvania main event winner last season, with all three victories occurring at the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace” in Port Royal, Pennsylvania. As an added note, two of the three wins were against the All Star Circuit of Champions.
