Brock Zearfoss Finishes Third During Port Royal Dream Race
Earns Semi-Feature Victory; Win Total Over $4,000

Jonestown, PA (August 11, 2015) – Brock Zearfoss had a near perfect evening at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday evening, August 8; finishing just two positions shy of a career-first “Living Legends Dream Race” title. Zearfoss, pilot of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar and Grill, Central Builders Supply, Leach’s Automotive Service, Meckley’s Limestone, #3Z “410” sprint car, finished third on Saturday night during the 9th annual “Living Legends Dream Race” in Port Royal, Pennsylvania, earning a semi-feature victory in the process to help cash in just over $4,400. The podium finish is a 2015 season high during a “crown jewel event” for the “Jonestown Jet,” and will look to use the earned momentum wisely in the future.
“It was an awesome night for sure” said Brock Zearfoss regarding the “Living Legends Dream Race” at Port Royal Speedway, “We put ourselves in good positions all night and capitalized on them. This team works really hard, and they gave me a great car all night long. This race is growing into one of the biggest in our region and to end the night on the podium is an incredible feeling. We’ve had some tough times this year, but we kept moving forward. Results like this proves our potential and we’ll work to keep that going the rest of the year.”
Brock Zearfoss timed in at ninth quick overall during “Living Legends Dream Race” qualifying time trials. The Jonestown, Pennsylvania native won the semi-feature in convincing fashion during the evening program. The semi-feature win automatically qualified Zearfoss for the evening feature finale. Zearfoss started fourth during the 35-lap main event and raced inside the top-five during the entire distance before crossing under the checkers third in the running order.
The Brock Zearfoss Racing #3Z team will return to action this Friday, August 14 and Saturday, August 15. Zearfoss will make a routine visit to the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday, August 14, as well as return to the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania on Saturday, August 15.
