Jonestown, PA (June 22nd, 2015) – The 25th edition of Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek presented by Jake’s Wayback Burgers will headline the central Pennsylvania sprint car circuit beginning this Friday evening, June 26th. Brock Zearfoss, pilot of the familiar Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar and Grill, Central Builders Supply, Leach’s Automotive Service, Meckley’s Limestone, no. 3Z ‘410’ sprint car, will join the notorious ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ during their week long trek through central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland; planning to enter eight of the nine scheduled speedweek stops. Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek officially kicks off this Friday evening with a $5,000-to-win main event at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Brock Zearfoss will miss the Grandview Speedway visit on Tuesday, June 30th due to work commitments.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to race most of speedweek” said Brock Zearfoss, “This is a special deal for sure…it’s a long standing tradition that gets a lot of press and has a huge following…this will be my first time being a part of it…we are kind of disappointed that we can’t run all of the shows, but my work schedule won’t allow it …I’m just excited to race that many nights in a short amount of time.”

After their visit to the Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, June 26th, Brock Zearfoss Racing will move ahead to the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 27th. The ‘410’ sprinters will compete in the 16th Annual ‘Kevin Gobrecht Memorial’ worth $7,000 in the Pigeon Hills on Saturday night; the second highest grand prize on the speedweek schedule.

Brock Zearfoss will truck ahead to the Path Valley Speedway Park in Spring Run, Pennsylvania for round three of Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek on Sunday, June 28th. The Fred Rahmer Promotions event will award a $5,000 top prize. Following his visit to Path Valley, Brock Zearfoss will spend two consecutive nights away from competition before returning to the Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek trail on Wednesday, July 1st at the Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland. The trip to Maryland will be worth $5,000.

Speedweek competitors will return to the Lincoln Speedway on Thursday, July 2nd for another $5,000 top prize. The Williams Grove Speedway will welcome back speedweek teams on Friday, July 3rd for the $10,000-to-win ‘Mitch Smith Memorial.’ The annual central Pennsylvania ‘crown jewel’ will highlight the speedweek schedule; awarding the highest winner’s share of the week. The 25th Annual Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek campaign will come to a close with a pair of $5,000-to-win programs at the Port Royal Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway on Saturday and Sunday, July 4th & 5th.

25th Annual Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek competitors will all compete for a $25,000 point fund during the 10-day campaign. The 2015 speedweek champion will earn $10,000.

“A lot of money on the line this week” said Brock Zearfoss, “This is a great opportunity for us to really get a jump start on the second half of the season…the year has been tough on us, but we’ll stay focused and try to take advantage of speedweek.”

During recent ‘410’ sprint car competition, Brock Zearfoss entered action at the Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, June 19th. The ‘Jonestown Jet’ was scored 16th during the 25-lap main event. Zearfoss rallied from the twelfth row to finish 16th; forced to start shotgun after having a mechanical issue before the initial green flag.
