Chase Dietz Records Podium Finish at ‘The Grove’ During 358 Main
Three PA Sprint Speedweek Events Scheduled for Dietz and Gobrecht ‘44’

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (June 23rd, 2015) – Chase Dietz and ‘358’ car owner Troy Godfrey added another podium finish to their list of 2015 accomplishments during the recent weekend; finishing second at the Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, June 19th during the 25-lap ‘358’ sprint car championship. Dietz, the 2014 Lincoln Speedway ‘358’ track champion, is a recent winner at ‘The Grove’ during ‘358’ sprint car competition, and is now two-for-two in podium finishes during his last two starts. In addition, Chase Dietz and the Godfrey Racing Engines ‘5’ team donated over $1,000 towards the charity ‘Olivia’s House’ after the Friday night program.

“Another great night for this team” said Chase Dietz, “Troy Godfrey gave me a great opportunity this year and the entire experience has been amazing…glad to get this ‘5’ car up towards the front again…we kinda got lucky there at the start of the feature last Friday…we avoided getting involved in a pretty big pile up so that moved us up pretty good…regardless, Troy Godfrey always gives me a great car to drive.”

Chase Dietz will now turn his attention towards the 25th Annual Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek presented by Jake’s Wayback Burgers featuring the almighty ‘Pennsylvania Posse.’ The 2015 edition of Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek will feature nine complete ‘410’ sprint car programs during a ten day period, racing in all areas of central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. Dietz, who pilots the Scott Gobrecht owned, Golf Cart Services, Bad Boy Buggies, ServiceMaster Clean Janitorial Service of York and Lancaster, Gettysburg Rental Company, no. 44 ‘410’ sprinter, is scheduled to enter three Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek programs during the upcoming week; beginning with the 16th Annual ‘Kevin Gobrecht Memorial’ at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 27th. The 2015 ‘Kevin Gobrecht Memorial’ will award $7,000 to the main event winner. Dietz will revisit the Pigeon Hills venue again on Thursday, July 2nd for a second speedweek program, all before ending his speedweek venture on Saturday, July 4th at the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania. It will be a career-first ‘410’ sprint car start at ‘The Speed Palace’ for Chase Dietz.

“Truly excited to race a few nights on the speedweek trail” said Chase Dietz, “The ‘Kevin Gobrecht Memorial’ has been circled on our calendar all year…its a special event for us so hopefully we can take advantage of that and work towards a solid finish for Scott and his family…this season has been an amazing experience so far…we want that to keep going.”
