GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (September 12, 2022) – “Blackjack” Brian Brown put together a successful campaign in Port Royal Speedway’s annual Tuscarora 50, concluding the three-day, three-race campaign with not only a top-ten in the $60,000-to-win finale on Saturday, September 10, but ultimately launching the weekend with a 12th-place score in Thursday’s lidlifter, that of which followed by a podium run in Friday’s Night Before the Tuscarora 50.

Although kicking-off the All Star Circuit of Champions weekend with the aforementioned 12th-place score on Thursday, Brown, ace of the Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Rowdy Energy, Ditzfeld Transfer, Champion Brands, MC Power, Weld Wheels, Housby, Maxim Chassis, J.D. Welding & Machine, Waldinger, Smiley’s Racing Products, Wolfe Eye Clinic, Mid Mo Equipment, Bell Helmets, K1 RaceGear, No. 21 sprint car, drove on to finish second the following evening, leading the first 16 circuits at the “Speed Palace” before seven-time Tuscarora 50 champion Lance Dewease snuck by on the bottom of the speedway.

Nearly 60 entries made the call for Saturday’s Tuscarora 50 finale forcing a six heat race program with only the top three being locked into the big dance. Brown would race on to finish second in his heat race, eventually concluding the 50-lap finale seventh in the running order. The Higginsville, Missouri, native started ninth on the A-Main grid by way of his heat race finish.

“In all, a great weekend for this Casey’s/FVP team. We put together three solid days against the All Stars and I’m proud of what we accomplished. My guys busted their butts all weekend and their hard work and determination shows,” Brian Brown stated. “It’s been a great trip to Pennsylvania thus far. This is a fantastic place to race with an amazing fan base and we’re already looking forward to getting back to Williams Grove and Lincoln this Friday and Saturday.

Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing will continue their 2022 campaign with All Star Circuit of Champions starts at Lincoln Speedway and Williams Grove Speedway on Friday and Saturday, September 16-17. The weekend will be headlined with Lincoln’s annual Dirt Classic awarding $20,000.
