Chase Dietz will Return to Lincoln for Hilly Rife Memorial
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
YORK, Pa. (May 25, 2016) – After a week away from the racing scene, electing not to compete against the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series, York native Chase Dietz will return to competition this Saturday night, May 28, for the annual Hilly Rife Memorial at Lincoln Speedway.
Dietz, a sophomore in the 410 sprint car ranks, will enter action in the Pigeon Hills with a recent podium finish to his credit. The pilot of the Haas Shocks, Godfrey Racing Engines, Embee & Sons, Gardy Enterprises, Mark’s Automotive, Pancho’s Race Products, Keizer Wheels, Beer Hill Gang, No. 2D finished third during BAPS Night on May 14, his best finish of the 2016 season thus far.
“We wanted to sit out last weekend to save our equipment,” explained Dietz. “I think our chances would have been high to qualify for the main event at Lincoln, but it’s in our best interest right now to save what we have for the weekly shows. We had a great run during our last start, so we’ll try to pick up where we left off this Saturday night.”
Chase Dietz owns one career 410 sprint car victory at Lincoln Speedway, as well as a track championship in the 358 sprint car ranks.
“I can’t thank my family and sponsors enough for making this season possible,” said Dietz. “It took us a few weeks to build some momentum, but now we’re on the right track.”
