Danny Holtgraver Begins Arctic Cat All Star Championship Hunt on Saturday

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

PITTSBURGH (March 29, 2016) – Since earning the 2010 Lernerville Speedway track championship, “Downtown” Danny Holtgraver has been a staple on the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions trail; racing on a part-time basis in 2011/2012 before making the transition to full-time status in 2013. The Pittsburgh, Pa., native has earned nine Arctic Cat All Star victories throughout his young career, with his most recent occurring during the 2014 season. Even during seasons when wins were short, consistency still existed; earning nearly 20 top-ten finishes with the Series in 2015 alone.

The 2016 Arctic Cat All Star point season will officially take flight on Saturday evening, April 2; a fresh start for Holtgraver and a fresh start toward a championship.

“I don’t think it is out of reach,” said Holtgraver when discussing the idea of winning an Arctic Cat All Star championship. “This is a tough deal. The schedule is nice because we usually have a lengthy period of time between groups of races to return to our shop and prep, but there is still a lot that goes into it. We visit a lot of different tracks all across the map, so you have to have the ability to adapt and learn quickly, while still making sure your equipment is perfect and ready to race. Consistency, the ability to win races, and a little bit of luck all play huge roles in the idea of winning a championship.”

Danny Holtgraver, pilot of the Pete Grove-owned, Premier Motorsports, Linc Systems, Olympic Forest Products, Lutes Custom Cabinetry, Premier Pallet, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, Alternative Power Sources, Westview Motors, DKW Transport, No. 70, will join the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions at Atomic Speedway on Saturday, April 2. The “Rumble in the Hills” will award a $5,000 top prize; the first of three Atomic Speedway appearances by the traveling stars in 2016, including the two-day season finale in late October.

“The first race is just as important as the last race,” said Holtgraver. “Kicking the season off with a win is our goal. That would set a near perfect tone for the rest of the year. I just want to thank all of my supporters and sponsors for making this season happen. Pete Grove gave me a great opportunity this season. I’ll work as hard as I can to bring a win home for him on Saturday.”
