Butler, PA (August 13th, 2013) – After being on the road for nearly a month and a half, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native Danny Holtgraver was finally able to return to his Butler County, Pennsylvania home on Tuesday morning, August 13th. The former Lernerville Speedway track champion and current UNOH All Star traveler spent the last six (6) weeks on the road; competing heavily with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions, World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series, and the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series.

The pilot of the B&R Racing, Canton Erectors, Berlin Natural Bakery, Alternative Power Sources, DKW Transport, no. 45 sprint car traveled throughout various areas and states across the upper-midwest over the last month and a half; capped-off with a trip to the 53rd Annual FVP Knoxville Nationals in Knoxville, Iowa, and the Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota.

Although most of Danny Holtgraver’s FVP Knoxville Nationals experience was plagued with engine issues, resulting in a ‘Did Not Start’ (DNS) result in Saturday night’s Nationals’ E-main, the two-time UNOH All Star winner in 2013 was able to end his midwest trip with a fifth (5th) place finish during UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions competition at the Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota on Sunday, August 11th. The top-five finish at Huset’s Speedway also allowed Danny Holtgraver and the B&R Racing ‘45’ team to finish fourth (4th), officially, in the final UNOH All Star ‘Western Region’ standings. Dale Blaney was declared the ‘Western Region’ UNOH All Star Champion.

Danny Holtgraver and B&R Racing will not rest for long, as UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions ‘Ohio Region’ competition picks back up this Saturday evening, August 17th at the Butler Motor Speedway in Quincy, Michigan. Holtgraver, who is the reigning ‘King of the 360s’ champion at East Bay Raceway Park, will enter the Butler Motor Speedway event on Saturday currently third (3rd) in the UNOH All Star ‘National’ standings; trailing current UNOH All Star ‘National’ point leader, Dale Blaney, by 304 markers. For more information, please check out the official online home of the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions at www.allstarsprint.com.

Once UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions competition is complete on Saturday evening, August 17th at the Butler Motor Speedway, Danny Holtgraver and B&R Racing will turn their attention towards the Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio for the Fifth Annual ‘Lou Blaney Memorial’ worth $5,000.

The 2013 ‘Lou Blaney Memorial’ will take shape on Tuesday evening, August 20th; welcoming not only Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio ‘410’ sprint car talent, but also NASCAR stars, Dave Blaney and Kyle Larson. Holtgraver, who is a former Sharon Speedway ‘410’ winner during weekly sprint car competition, will enter the Sharon Speedway ‘Lou Blaney Memorial’ event next Tuesday with intentions of winning in front of his ‘semi-home’ crowd. Danny Holtgraver raced at the Sharon 3/8’s mile oval on multiple occasions throughout his young, yet accomplished, career, and is excited to revisit the speedway on August 20th for the first time in 2013. The UNOH All Stars were scheduled to visit the state-of-the-art facility during ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek,’ but the midweek event was cancelled due to inclement weather. For more information pertaining to the $5,000-to-win ‘Lou Blaney Memorial’ on Tuesday, August 20th at the Sharon Speedway, please visit the speedway online at www.sharonspeedway.com.

Danny Holtgraver, who is a full-time traveler with the UNOH All Stars in 2013, will enter his Butler/Sharon road trip with two (2) UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions victories under his belt already this season. The Western Pennsylvania native finds himself third (3rd) in the current UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions ‘National’ standings heading into his Michigan/Ohio mini-swing. The ‘45’ team found victory lane during UNOH All Star competition this season at the I-77 Raceway Park in Ripley, West Virginia; and the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Interestingly enough, Holtgraver is four-for-four at the Mercer 3/8’s mile oval in 2013 thus far; winning all four (4) events, sanctioned and unsanctioned, he has entered in.
