Danny Holtgraver Eyes Big Prize at Lou Blaney Memorial

PITTSBURGH (July 8, 2016) – Western Pennsylvania’s own Danny Holtgraver has been hot during his last three Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions starts, recording three consecutive top-five performances including a podium finish at I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Michigan. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native, owner of ten top-five finishes with the Arctic Cat All Stars in 2016, will work to extend his hot streak during the entire “Month of Money,” continuing with the $10,000-to-win, 8th annual Lou Blaney Memorial at Sharon Speedway tomorrow evening (July 9).
“This race has been on our bucket list for a while. It has definitely grown into something really special, ” Holtgraver explained. “We have a lot of laps around Sharon Speedway and have been fortunate enough to win there, but never during a major event like the Lou Blaney Memorial. We’ve been on a pretty good roll lately. We’ll try to use that to our advantage.”
“Downtown” Danny Holtgraver finished on the podium during his most recent Sharon Speedway start with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions. The pilot of Pete Grove’s Premier Motorsports, Linc Systems, Olympic Forest Products, Lutes Custom Cabinetry, Premier Pallet, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, Alternative Power Sources, Westview Motors, DKW Transport, No. 70 entry finished third at the Hartford, Ohio, oval during Ohio Sprint Speedweek on Tuesday evening, June 21. The 8th annual Lou Blaney Memorial will be Holtgraver’s second and final Sharon Speedway start of 2016.
