EXCITING ELDORA DOUBLEHEADER ANNOUNCED FOR AMSOIL SPRINTS MAY 8-9
Speedway, Indiana……..Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio has long been an important venue for all three of USAC’s national racing divisions, most notably with the AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship. That will continue in 2015, as the speedway announced a potent combination to pair the USAC Sprint Cars with the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars for a doubleheader May 8-9. Additionally, the popular “Four Crown Nationals” will return in September.
Over its first 61 seasons, tradition and innovation have played a huge role in Eldora Speedway’s growth. Tradition will again be served in 2015 through the return of Eldora’s signature major events, while the innovative twist includes another first in the industry.
Over the weekend of Friday and Saturday, May 8 and 9, Eldora will pull together the USAC and WoO brands in a complete doubleheader both nights. Each group sets the nation’s standard for their brand of Sprint Car racing and each have a storied history – not only at Eldora – but throughout the country, yet, never before have they been featured together on the same card, the same night.
And, in keeping with Eldora’s tradition of offering the best drivers in the world at the most affordable price, tickets for the historic event will be just $25 for general admission seating.
In addition to the May 8 & 9 blockbuster, the AMSOIL USAC Sprint Cars will return on Saturday, September 26 to compete in the “Four Crown Nationals” along with the Honda National Midgets and Silver Crown Series. The WoO Sprints will be on hand Friday, September 25 to kick off the long-established event.
