Full F.A.S.T. Weekend Ahead for T.J. Michael
Rain Halts Plans to Visit Mercer Raceway Park

Fremont, OH (June 2nd, 2015) – With Mother Nature halting all plans to visit Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania on Saturday, May 30th, ‘The Texas Traveler’ T.J. Michael will now turn his attention back towards Fremont/Attica Sprint Title, or F.A.S.T., competition in northwestern Ohio. Michael will join the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series for a pair of events this weekend; making routine visits to the Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway. The Plano, Texas native, who calls Fremont, Ohio ‘home’ during much of the racing season, is roughly one-third of the way through his first year of ‘410’ competition and continues to hunt for that first career ‘410’ victory.
“We didn’t get to race last weekend like we planned” said Michael, “The weather kinda put a stop to that…gave us a little extra time to regroup and get things ready for this weekend…we’ve been busy with the ‘305’ and ‘410’ deal so having a weekend away from the track allowed us to get things sorted and figured out…we’ll race with the F.A.S.T. series this weekend…tough competition in that area…we’ve struggled some with our ‘410’ program but we’ll get it going soon…takes time and laps and we are logging plenty of those.”
T.J. Michael will join the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series on Friday night, June 5th at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, followed by an appearance with the series at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Saturday, June 6th. Michael has victories at both Ohio ovals in 2015; each occurring during ‘305’ sprint car competition. The driver of the Advanced Cast Stone, Fremont Fence Company, Kear’s Speed Shop, Shell Shock, no. 8M sprint car earned his most recent ‘305’ victory at the Fremont Speedway back on Saturday, May 16th. Michael has a total of three victories during ‘305’ sprint car competition in 2015 including one in the state of Texas earlier this season.
“Our ‘305’ program is better right now” said T.J. Michael, “I have a lot more experience in that division and it shows…having ‘305’ experience has definitely helped me with ‘410’ racing…we are only going to focus on our ‘410’ deal this weekend…we race with some of the best local competition around…learning from them will help us improve.”
