Denver, PA (June 16th, 2013) – Alan Krimes of Denver, Pennsylvania put on a clinic at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, June 15th; earning a career-first UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions ‘410’ sprint car triumph by an incredible four (4) second margin of victory. The $5,000 win was in front of not only a packed house, but also a packed pit area; as thirty-five (35) of the best sprint car teams in the region flooded the Lincoln Speedway gates on Saturday evening for the high-dollar UNOH All Star program. Krimes, who pilots the familiar Conestoga Valley Garage, Krimes Racing Engines, no. 87 ‘410’ sprinter, lead every circuit of the 30-lap main event; crossing under the checkers four (4) seconds ahead of race runner-up, Danny Dietrich.

UNOH All Star preliminary results for Alan Krimes on June 15th included registering the fourth (4th) fastest time of the night during qualifying time trials. The pilot of the familiar Conestoga Valley Garage ‘87’ sprint car would transfer through his respective heat race, all before finishing second (2nd) in the evening’s UNOH All Star dash. The runner-up finish in the six-lap dash allowed Alan Krimes to start the 30-lap, $5,000-to-win main event from the outside of the front row. The rest is history. Danny Dietrich, Stevie Smith, Lance Dewease, and Fred Rahmer rounded out the top-five at the finish. The highest finishing ‘All Star’ was former series champion, Tim Shaffer, who crossed under the checkers sixth (6th) in the running order. Alan Krimes dedicated his career-first UNOH All Star win to Jason Leffler. For a complete rundown, please visit Lincoln Speedway online at www.lincolnspeedway.com.

With Saturday night’s UNOH All Star win, Alan Krimes now owns two (2) victories at the Pigeon Hills 3/8’s mile oval in 2013. The ‘Super 87’ now has nine (9) top-five appearances at the Lincoln Speedway this season, as well as thirteen (13) top-tens. The victory lane appearance by Alan Krimes gave the ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ a perfect record on the weekend; sweeping UNOH All Star action in Central Pennsylvania during the June 14th/15th ‘Keystone State’ swing.

The Conestoga Valley Garage ‘87’ team will return to ‘410’ sprint car action this Friday and Saturday, June 21st & 22nd, for two more rounds of Central Pennsylvania ‘410’ sprint car competition. Alan Krimes will make his usual Williams Grove Speedway (PA) and Lincoln Speedway appearances on June 21st & 22nd; continuing his track championship quests at both facilities.
