Jack Sodeman Jr. Satisfied with 2015 Outcome
Continues Preparations for Upcoming Season

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

North Jackson, Ohio (January 16, 2016) – With the winter season now in full effect, it is easy to assume Jack Sodeman, Jr., is growing anxious for the new year. Since officially ending his 2015 campaign in late October, the North Jackson, Ohio, native has been hard at work; taking necessary steps in preparing for another busy season on the Western Pennsylvania circuit and surrounding areas.

“This time of year is bitter-sweet for our race team” Sodeman explained, “The off-season isn’t very long. We have a lot to prepare for and we find ourselves rushing around at certain times. Winter has finally arrived and that kind of makes things worse. You want the winter months to go away, but you still need plenty of time to prepare. A lot of mixed feelings, for sure.”

The 2015 season proved to be well-accomplished for the “Buckeye State” native, adding a little extra pressure to the new year ahead. Sodeman, who split time between his own No. 23JR and the Jim Seger-owned No. 25, amassed four sprint car main event victories in 2015, as well as 20 top-five and 27 top-ten finishes in 35 starts. The second generation sprint car pilot entered multiple divisions during his recent campaign, mixing weekly 410 sprint car dates with occasional non-wing 410 and winged 360 starts. In fact, Sodeman’s last start of the 2015 season resulted in victory; earning the Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (B.O.S.S.) non-wing feature win during the Steel City Stampede at Lernerville Speedway on October 25.

Claiming the Mercer Raceway Park 410 track championship was the ultimate highlight for Jack Sodeman, Jr., in 2015. Sodeman ended his title chase with 1071 points at the Mercer, Pennsylvania, oval; a near 150-point gap over the championship runner-up.

“We are proud of what we accomplished last season” Sodeman said, “It took us until late July to get that first win, but things got rolling in the right direction after that. I just want to thank all of those who made my year possible. Jimmy Seger gave me a great opportunity to drive for him and I thank him for that. My dad and partner Mark Kubick have been with me for a long time. They are with me every step of the way and I truly appreciate their help. We’ll try to keep our positive momentum rolling in the right direction.”

Although an exact schedule has yet to be determined, a similar game plan stands firm for Jack Sodeman, Jr., and his team. The former Sportsman’s Speedway, Sharon Speedway and now Mercer Raceway Park track champion will participate in much of the Western Pennsylvania circuit this season, as well as make routine visits to outside areas to participate in Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions and World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series events.

“Our schedule hasn’t been narrowed down yet, but most of it will remain the same” Sodeman explained, “Our goal is to race as much as possible, or race as often as my work schedule allows. Regardless, we’ll be ready to go.”
