Wisconsin ahead

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

MYERSTOWN, Pa. (July 1, 2019) – Producing results that gradually improved as the weekend progressed, the ‘Myerstown Missile’ Brent Marks capped his three-day, Jackson Nationals campaign with two main event starts, one of which resulting in a 14th place finish during the $41,000-to-win finale on Saturday, June 29; the result of a hard charge from the outside of row 12.

Impressive enough, Marks’ main event starting spot was the product of a Last Chance Showdown transfer position, climbing ahead from eighth to fourth in 12 laps to secure his place in the $41,000 showstopper.

Unfortunately, Marks was unable to qualify for Jackson Nationals preliminary action on Thursday. Quick to recover, Marks qualified for Friday’s preliminary main event and finished 22nd.

“We didn’t start the weekend how we wanted, but we were able to rebound in a hurry. Improving a little bit every night is what this team is all about. We have the tools and the potential to do great things, but if things don’t go our way, we still have the motivation to fix the problems and improve,” Brent Marks expressed, driver of the M&M Painting & Construction/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Eagle Hotel/No. 19 sprint car. “I’m excited to get back to work on Wednesday.”

Brent Marks and Brent Marks Racing will return to action on Wednesday evening, July 3, at the Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen, South Dakota. From there, the Greatest Show On Dirt will move east for a two-day stay at the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wis., on Friday and Saturday, July 5 & 6. Marks is especially excited about returning to Cedar Lake Speedway, the site of a podium performance for the Myerstown, Pa., native in 2018.
