Earns Career-First “410” Victory

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

Elida, Ohio (August 20, 2015) – With the 2015 K&L Ready Mix NRA “360” Sprint Invaders season officially complete, Elida, Ohio’s Max Stambaugh will have the opportunity to turn his focus towards a select number of high profile events in the region, including those sanctioned by the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions. Stambaugh, the 2015 NRA Sprint Invaders series runner-up, will jump-start his late summer schedule with a triple-header weekend in Michigan and Ohio. “Mad Max” will enter three consecutive events this Friday through Sunday, hunting for season win #4 and his second during “410” competition.

“We have a lot of plans for the second half of the year” said Max Stambaugh, “With our NRA season already finished up, we can now go out and race our own deal and not have to worry about being committed to any type of schedule. There are a lot of big weekends ahead so we want to make sure we enter those. We’ve been pretty good this year. I’m happy to be a part of this Ron Hammons team.”

“Mad Max” Stambaugh will activate the upcoming weekend on Friday night, August 21, at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. A top prize of $3,000 is up for grabs at the Attica oval; a perfect warm up for the upcoming UNOH All Star doubleheader on September 4 and September 5.

After his Attica visit, Stambaugh will move ahead and join the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions at the Butler Speedway in Quincy, Michigan on Saturday, August 22. Stambaugh is a recent winner at the Quincy oval; earning the “410” sprint car victory on Saturday, August 8. It was Stambaugh’s first “410” victory of the 2015 season and the first of his young career.

The upcoming weekend will come to a close on Sunday evening, August 23, at the Millstream Speedway near Findlay, Ohio. Once again, “Mad Max” will join the UNOH All Star travelers, seeking another $5,000 top prize. The Millstream Speedway visit will be a first for the Elida, Ohio native.

Stambaugh, pilot of the Specialized Therapy, Biggies Coast to Coast, Triple JJJ, Tim Hogan’s Carpet, Texas Roadhouse, Dale’s Concrete, K & L Ready Mix, Robb Avenue Body Shop, Radio Hospital, #6M, ended his 2015 NRA Sprint Invaders season second in the final championship standings. Stambaugh tied Jared Horstman for the top spot in the final standings, but was eventually scored second after the series utilized the win total criterion. “Mad Max” earned two NRA “360” sprint car main event victories in 2015; both occurring at the Limaland Motorsports Park near Lima, Ohio.

“We were happy with how our NRA season ended” said Max Stambaugh, “Came up just a little short, but that’s how it goes sometimes. We had a few bad finishes during the season that really hurt us. Take those out of the picture and we may have won the title. Regardless, I’m proud of our team. Everyone works hard and it shows. I just want to thank everyone for the opportunity. Hopefully we can turn some heads this weekend and get the #6M up front.”
